So now that my break from college is over and It's time to go back to work again, here's what I've been busy with lately:

At the 16. January I went to an event called Nacht der Museen (night of the museum) where me and my class were invited to draw live in front of the visitors in the botanical museum in Basel for an entire night. That was a really cool event and I was able to talk with the visitors about our field of study, we got a lot of food, drinks, and even money and a few plants for my aquarium from the team caring for the botanical museum and the event itself. So it didn't bothered me at all to draw all night until 2am in the morning.
There are pictures of the event but sadly I'm not on them (I was probably having my break when she passed). Still if you're interested, check out what the event was like, how my classmates look and what my watercolor sketchbook looks like with the amorphophallus bulb on the table ;) botgarten.unibas.ch/2015museum…

At the 18. January I went to Lisbon for a week and man, that was a cool study trip! It's a really nice and clean city with friendly people, so worth checking out if you're interested in architecture, museums and other cultural things. I was probably having too much fun with my classmates at the evenings when we've been drinking and partying a lot but who cares! I was also able to get to know my classmates from the first semester a bit better. All nice peeps and one of them may be able to organize me a house for rent in Reykjavik! :D That and talking about sardines, study, exchange semesters, aquariums and my horror stories from the internet that made them laugh like crazy and probably traumatized a few
Some really nice days we spent there! Anyways, if you want to check out one of them or are just interested in good paleo art here on DA, here's Oliver's gallery :iconodemuth:

After that I did the two days of my mandatory driving courses. It was fun and it turns out I'm a really good and efficient driver that'll probably never have an accident, if I keep on driving this carefully. So much for my parents nagging on me when I drive over snow and mountain passes... Anyways, now that that is done too, combined with my three years of driving on trial without any accidents, I'll get my definitive driver's license at the end of this month. Yes!

And last but not least, I was invited to teach the fifth grade of Ardez how to draw things in an easy way to get the proportions right this Friday. I admit that I was really nervous of what to actually say and teach them but it turned out really good and the kids seemed to have enjoyed it and learned from my input. The teacher was really satisfied with my work, so that's a few extra bucks for me and a personal milestone marking my first lesson as a drawing teacher! :iconlaplz:

Now in my first week of college after the holidays, I'll probably edit a few things on my profile here, so don't worry about the changes and tell me of something I edit isn't good =)

Awesome, you must've had a very good fun time with all of these activities. I'll probaly do all the same too with the exception of driving ^^
