Wundversorgung Sangheili

Some time ago I discussed with Thilo how sangheili can heal themselves so fast after fatal injuries, like Rtas 'Vadumee had in the graphic novel, who nearly lost his left arm in the battle with fhe Flood infected Bero 'Kusovai and was fighting again during the events of Halo 2 without disabilities. So here's my idea of sangheili or even Covenant wound treatment in form of a sketch.

Because sangheili do not like to treat minor wounds, they just treat severe injuries if they're local with those tight closing apparatures filled with healing and disinfecting liquid, because wounds heal better if kept a bit moist. The apparatures even splint broken bones. A little filter (left above) extracts sanies and blood from the liquid and an exchanger (right below) enables to replace the used liquid with fresh liquid, without the need of removing the apparature. With this technology, sangheili can fight even with severe injuries or move with minor fractures. If the wounds are on a large area of the body, they have to go into a completely filled tank with liquid, in order to heal them selves.

And if you don't know what's up with the three toons on the upper right side: Well, that’s me (right) and Thilo (left) saying "Nope, bloody bandages are so much cooler!" It means he loves to import ideas into his ffs just because they look good or are epic. So he would prefer simple bandages instead of my healing equipment (in the end I was able to persuade him ). And the Elite above is Thilo's ff character Lord Takr Jarl 'Wudkar, who has to live with the bandages because Thilo has the habit to always chop off the arms of his Elite characters ^^

PS: I hate these ugly shoulder plates I had to design for him...
