Sorta a bit of a spoiler, but hey he pissed off Thar in the first place and Salvador's a fighting nature anyways. Dawn won't be happy though... So heroe's death or just another lovely plasma sword scar on his back? We'll see if he makes it
I was a bit bored, so I decided it's time for a Photoshop sketch about Halo. However, I took a little more time than planned, since I liked the strength in this scene and wanted to get a bit of dramatic lighting, so it took about 2h.
Halo belongs to Microsoft.

If plot armor is not involved, then being stabbed in the chest would cause the death of the victim even if the blades miss any vital organ. An energy sword if hot enough to penetrate ballistic armor and melt metal, so the sheer amount of heat would cause the violent evaporation of blood and other fluids, as well as the explosive rupture of cells and blood vessels.
