Madagaskar Aquarell

Watercolor sketches from October last year when we spent a day in the Gewächshaus Zürich (Greenhouse Zurich). I experimented a bit with how to start a landscape sketch in watercolors best in the jungle like palm tree house that just had been modernized. The other two are savanna rocky mountain angiosperms from Madagascar in order to preserve the rare and endangered species (deforestation) by breeding them in Zurich and reintroduce them later into re-naturalized areas in Madagascar.

The savanna plants are:
Euphorbia ankarensis from the Euphorbiaceae family.
