Ciolonkov Twins

What a suggesting title! But yeah, I bet you didn't knew that Maika had a twin sister called Lauren, huh? Unlike Maika she wasn't a pilot but a machinist working at the Air Force base of Harmony until she got killed when the Covenant attacked. That and the fact that unlike Maika she doesn't suffers from the "virginity forever syndrom" (she's also quite the social butterfly like Maika but blessed with more "adult" attributes -cough-) is pretty much all information I got about her. So yeah, I had a lot of space for interpretation with her design, meaning that I just went with my own imagination of how she looks like due to the lack of a proper reference or character sheet. She's not that important to the comic but since her death is Maika's little mindfuck weak spot, I wanted to illustrate her anyways, so that's why I went with Lauren being very similar to Maika in behavior, looks and size.

And yes, since Lauren died before Steve joined Salvador, causing him and Maika to become instant bro's, Steve never actually met Lauren. Still I added him here due to the constant jokes that Steve would try to get into Lauren's pants, much to the discontent of Maika who'd probably freak out and try to get revenge by getting into Jessica's or even Sigrun's pants in return. Not that he'd ever succeed in that but he'd still try hardcore.
Remember Steve: Even if you're a hardcore ODST, never sleep with your bro's hot sister

Anyways, this is just a pencil sketch I did during lunch break in the zoo today, then I slapped some photoshop color on it at home. Not much thought behind this joke. I just wanted to illustrate Lauren for the first time, so it's probably not her final design.
